Installation Condensing Units

When installing the units, the following precautions must be taken:

• Select a place where there is no constant movement of people.

• Select a place as dry and ventilated as possible.

• Avoid installing near sources of heat or vapors, exhaust or flammable gases.

• Avoid installing in locations where the equipment will be exposed to prevailing winds, heavy rain, moisture and dust.

• Avoid installing uneven, uneven places on grass or soft surfaces (the unit must be level).

• We recommend the use of rubber shims near the feet of the unit to avoid undesirable noise.

• Do not install the units in such a way that the discharge of air from one unit is the intake of air from the other.

• Obey the spaces required for installation and air circulation.

Avoid installations under these conditions

Important

It is important that the installation is done on a firm and resistant surface; we recommend a concrete base, fixing the unit to the base by means of screws and using rubber shims between both, to avoid undesirable noises.

These parts are not included with the unit.

Important

Springer Carrier recommends that the installation of the condenser units be made with the interconnecting connections being aligned laterally to the nearest wall.

- Check for proper drainage through the drain hydraulics (if any) by placing water inside the condensing unit.

Installation with French Hand

When installing the condenser unit on a French hand, the following points should be observed:

The minimum distances and recommended spaces are shown in the figure.

Note

For condenser units mounted with electrical boxes facing the same side (facing each other), a spacing of 750mm is recommended.

For condenser units mounted with electrical boxes one for each side (one back to the other), a spacing of 600mm is recommended.

* The correct dimensioning of the fixings to support the unit (hand-french, beams, supports, screws, etc).

* The rigid attachment of the brackets to the wall in order to avoid accidents, such as falls, etc.
